At Home With Friends

I was visiting my friend Jen a few weeks ago and had my camera with me. Her delightful kids were playing and goofing around and I had to get my camera out. There was beautiful natural light coming in through these big windows and that really added a great feel to the environment. We had a great time laughing and taking pictures. Kids are so great to photograph when they're comfortable in their own familiar space.

Kurt & Laura - September 2007

Kurt & Laura called me almost a year ago and wanted to get together to talk about the possibility of me shooting their unique 2 day wedding event. Kurt & Laura were such an awesome couple, that I jumped at the chance to work with them. Kurt & Laura got married at her family's cabin in northern Wisconsin. Her Grandfather built the cabin and a unique covered bridge that spans a large creek on their property. It was a very small private ceremony on Friday. The fall colors were beautiful still. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. We met in Madison Saturday afternoon to take more portraits of Kurt & Laura at their farm. Later that evening we all went off to celebrate at a big reception and dance with all of their friends & family. It was a great time!

Jesse & Rachel - October 2007

Jesse & Rachel were such a fun couple to work with. They got married in a church that had an awesome combination of natural light and stain glass windows... the perfect combination for fabulous images. Rachel was especially fun to work with because she wasn't embarassed to "work it" for the camera. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their day. I feel like I always say that about every couple, but it is true. I get to meet the coolest people and that makes my day and my job so enjoyable! Jesse and Rachel are living in Florida now, so I'm posting a lot of images for them to see while they wait for their final images and proof book to arrive.
